description
This mild-mannered squirrel come to my patio door in search of an almond. In these two photos, he is leaning in and taking the almond I offered him.
Six or seven squirrels come to my patio and eat peanuts and almonds. When they want to take the almonds with them, they will struggle to arrange two or three in their mouth before running off. They then eat them in the trees, or bury them for later. They sometimes return for more with their snouts covered with black dirt.
