You are looking southwest down 7th Street. On the left is the Xcel Energy Center during it's final phase of construction. It is a part of RiverCentre, and has opened since this picture was taken.
The logo for the Minnesota Wild, which plays there, was painted on the surface of this intersection(or at Kellogg one block down, I'm not sure).

Was sad to see the old Civic Center go.
But this building is a beatiful replacement.

It's time to udate the photograph. The building is gorgeous and this current picture does not do it justice.
