Badoc is the first town in Ilocos Norte when you enter the province from the south. It's home of the Badoc River, green rice fields, mountains, and is where my wife is from.

Badoc Town, Ilocos Norte, is a small town about an hour from Batac and an hour from the capitol of Laoag. It has a small barangay (#10) named "Las Ud", which is where my wife's family is from (and her Nana still lives).
It's a beautiful area, with lush rice fields, the Badoc river, and the ocean nearby (in Pinili); "mahalaga sa akin" (precious to me).
