description

This is my brother, Marc, being prepared for his stem cell transplant at UCLA. The procedure is done in his room, after having received high dose chemo and total body irradiation over the past 10 days.

The stem cells are his own, harvested prior to the chemotherapy and radiation he received. He will receive 10 100ml bags of a pink slurry, with a total of about 2 million stem cells.
