description

This is the first of two atriums in Butler Square, a renovated warehouse. It has a restaurant and bar as well as offices and a child care center. It is on the block just north of Target Center, between First Avenue and Second Avenue.

The bar "Champs" is out of frame to the right. Behind you is a door exiting onto First Avenue. I believe it used to be the Butler Brothers Warehouse.

    This is a prime example of why renovations of existing warehouse buildings are so wonderful! I just love this photo. This is what makes a city so vibrant and lively. Austin's doing the same type of warehouse renovation in it's downtown. It's really paid off. I just love seeing this! Thanks! :-{)}
