You are in the plaza at the west end of the Washington Avenue Bridge pedestrian level. The bridge and the enclosed walkway are on the right, and the lampposts that line the bridge trail off as the bridge crosses the Mississippi River. This is the beginning of the west bank side of the Minneapolis campus of the U of M.
