You are looking west from the east end of the Washington Avenue Bridge. This is the top deck of the bridge, for pedestrian and bike traffic. It serves to connect the east bank and west back of the Minneapolis campus of the U of M. The Weisman Art Museum is out of frame to your left.
On the left is an enclosed shelter, for when the weather is bad. The downtown skyline is in the background at right. links
