description

You are on East River Road, looking up from ground level at the Weisman Art Museum. This is the University of Minnesota's art museum, designed by Frank Gehry and built into the east bank of the Mississippi River. The main entrance is at the top of the riverbank, near Coffman Memorial Union.

    I think this building is just an impressive looking building! I love it because it is something different from the normal buildings you see everyday. I think it adds a lot of character to the area it is in. I wish we had more different buildings like this one in our neighborhood.

    Stunning looking modern building.
    It really attracts one's attention
    and as I haven't seen it in the flesh I will have to visit Minneapolis again.

    I hope they find the little black box to say what happened.......... or better yet , how on earth was that done.Quite frankly it's a masterpiece of engineering and good taste to boot!. Frank Ghery rules!!!!
