You are standing on the Riverside Avenue overpass above I-94, looking east towards Tower Hill. The taller broadcast tower, to the right of the Witch's Hat, belongs to KSTP(channel 5).

When I was a young cab driver I was driving across the Franklin Avenue bridge one morning as the sun was coming up and the sun was perfectly lined up with windows underneath the Witches Hat, making it look like a rocket launching. It was neat, and I'd alway been sad I couldn't share that with near dear ones, or had a camera. The Franklin Ave bridge is probably the prettiest place in Minneapolis, when the leaves are changing in the fall.
