This is the main entrance to Pratt Community Education Center. This is the south end of the building, near Orlin and Malcolm Avenues in Prospect Park. This building was built as the Sidney Pratt School in 1898, and was used as a neighborhood elementary school for 84 years.
commentsEthleen Sandi Sandell Belisle 4115 Jeffers Rd Apt 211 Eau Claire,WI 54703 -- 2001-11-05 I was delighted to see the school where I graduated from eighth grade in 1944. I returned with students from the reading department at the U of W- River Falls in the early 1970's to set up reading centers. It looks wonderful in its new role. thank you for the wonderful pictures of my childhoood home.
