This is the Linden Hills depot, operated as a museum and streetcar line by the Minnesota Transportation Museum. You are at Queen Avenue South and 42nd street, just west of Lake Harriet and in view of the Bandshell.

The depot is a recreation of the 1900 structure that stood there originally. This line is the only remaining leg of a once extensive system, responsible for the development of residential neighborhoods beyond downtown in the 1800s. The Minnesota Transportation Museum restored several streetcars, which run on these tracks between Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun in the summer. They run every few minutes between 12:30pm and dusk on weekends, 6:30pm to dusk on weekdays.
