You are on the northwest side of Lake Harriet, looking east at the sailboats moored in this corner of the lake. The walking path is in shadow at the bottom of the frame. The bandshell is north of here, out of frame to the left.

This was my front yard for two great years! If the shot where facing the other way, you would be looking at my old apartment on West 42nd Street. Most mornings before work, I would walk outside and sit be the lake. Read the paper and drink my coffee (drug of choice). Now I'm back in California (my native state) but would like to return to Linden Hills one day. A great neighborhood with great people.
