You are on Hennepin Avenue by Washington Avenue, looking east. The ReliaStar building is on the left. I believe the white building behind it, which is farther down on Washingon, also belongs to ReliaStar. There is a landscaped area here called Gateway Park, a remnant of a larger park that was here before urban renewal in the 1950s.
commentsalan MN former minneapolitan -- 2006-04-30 this building was designed by Minoru Yamasaki, who also designed the world trade center twin towers, the building i spent most of my time in at oberlin college, and believe it or not, the saudi arabian monetary headquarters in riyadh, saudi arabia.
