You are on Hennepin Avenue between 9th and 8th, looking east. The is the Historic State Theater, which was restored and re-opened about 5 years ago. The inside elaborately decorated with classical murals.

commentsLashanta Swave Burlington,Ohio -- 2000-04-14 these are real good pictures,i don't know why you don't have more comments on them!i really would like to come upthere sometime because it looks like fun and it looks very pretty! i think maybe because the area contains two major cities maybe thats why there are so many attractions. the thing that atracts me to minnesota is that it has country and city and it has the four seasons! i love the water and i would like to live in the country but come visit minneapolis definetely! you have great photos! i like both the full skyline and the close up pics and i really enjoy the park photos too as i reall love nature! maybe i will live in a very small town outside the area and visit real often!
