You are on the southeast corner of 50th and France Avenue looking northwest at a clothing store on the other corner. Some construction has just begun on the northeast block of this intersection (just out of frame to the right), a new retail development is going in.

Oh my god! I went to the dentist in that building in the late '30s-early 40's as a kid. I'll never forget the dentist. I use to scream bloody murder when he drilled my teeth. His response was putting his other hand over my mouth! Talk about mideivel! Who could ever forget that?
