You are on 14th Avenue southeast near University Avenue, which is carried over the railroad tracks by the bridge at center frame. You are standing on an almost identical looking bridge.
The University of Minnesota campus begins on the other side of University Avenue. On the left is Peik Hall gymnasium. Roy Wilkins Hall is on the far right. The downtown skyline is visible in the background. commentsSean Ryan 30th and Johnson- Northeast -- 2003-09-26 This railroad viaduct is actually the streambed of and river. I can't recall the name but it was forced into a tunnel at the turn of the century. The same stream runs underneath the proposed site of the on-campus football stadium which would cause millions of dollars in over run costs to build on. Post a comment on this picture | |
