This is a Sikorsky VH-3D Helicopter. The top image shows it traveling towards the White House (this shot being taken from the Jefferson Memorial, directly south of there). Since the President was on board (returning after a weekend away), the helicopter's call sign would have been "Marine One".
The helicopter is operated by Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1). The primary presidential helicopter is the Sikorsky VH-3D, shown here. The lower image shows the chopper returning from the White House.
