description
This is a classroom at the Minneapolis Technical Training Academy (MTTA). I photographed the facility for the organization's director, Keith Hammond. It folded shortly after opening when the school district canceled their contract with the school.
This was a contract alternative school with a focus on technology. It had SUN terminals with flat panel monitors at every desk. According to the Star Tribune, many vendors were unpaid and withholding taxes for teachers were not paid. The high school was evicted from this facility. commentsAnonymous -- 2003-09-30 Where is Keith Hammond Now??? Anonymous Twin Cities -- 2003-11-18 Keith Hammond is operating in Bloomington under the name Jet Mar LLP (located at Old Shakopee Rd and Normandale) and is supposedly living in River Bluff Estates. Is he still up to his old tricks? And if so, isn't he still on probation? Anonymous -- 2003-12-16 How about a show of hands of how many people he has taken advantage of!? anonymous Twin Cities -- 2005-05-30 In prison now apparently. Right where he belongs.
