You are looking east on the bike path around Lake Harriet. This is on the north side of the lake. The Roberts Bird Sanctuary is on the other side of the parkway. The bike path is above, the walking path below.

This is one of my favorite places on earth. I grew up in South Minneapolis and Lake Harriet was a haven during the humid, hot summer. I cannot count the number of times I've walked that very path. During autumn, there is nothing comparable to the beauty of this area. I've not had the opportunity to enjoy an autumn in my hometown for over a few decades, but it remains a favorite memory. Thanks for posting this photo.
