This chicken belongs to a family in Wisconsin. I can't recall the variety (species), but it's being kept as a free range chicken for egg production.

This particular bird is known throughout England and the West coast of the United States as an "Auracana" or "Aracauna".
It is a medium sized bird and very popular - particularly at Easter time - as it is the only known chicken that lays colored eggs...green, red and deep blue!
