Wonderful old pictures of Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church. However, the photo entitled "1953 Picture of inside the United Methodist Church During a Service" is not of the interior of Hennepin Avenue. I don't recognize the sanctuary.

Yes, I made a mistake in adding that link to this page. It's actually a picture of the inside of the (downtown) Central Lutheran Church at 1300 4th Avenue South.

i was in an organ competition here when i was 16. while the organ (with 4 manuals, as i was very very unused to) was amazing, especially in the incredible acoustics of the space, my nerves overcame me. and michael barone was a judge. ah, to embarrass one's self in the presence of michael barone at the age of 16.... either way, the practicing on site was lots of fun!!!
