    Yeah, and as for overcrowded, have you ever seriously been to any airports like LaGuardia, Detroit, O'Hare, Atlanta, JFK? These are all many times more crowded that MSP has ever been. Yes, it's a NW airport, but hardly any airports are not segregated by airline now thanks to the hub-and-spoke system. Atlanta=Delta, Detroit=NW, ...

    I have *heard* that one of Northwests regional partner carriers, known as "Pinnacle Airlines" is planning on going it's own way and being an independant carrier. I figure this would definitely help with competition in the Minneapolis area. Reminds me of the days when MSP had Northwest and North Central/Republic Airlines together.
