I grew up in south Minneapolis and spent a lot of time at Minnehaha falls I also have taken alot of pictures of the falls, but this one is just awesome. I love your whole website, when I get homesick now I know where to go. thanks always a Minnesota girl

In the late 50s early 60s we used to come over from St. Paul and walk
around on the ledge underneath the
falls. What great memories. I'm
moving back next year in March, after having been gone for 40 years. I can hardly stand the wait.

JD, you can still walk under the falls, just watch out for the squirrel chasers, because its illegal now.

Why would you not have shot this photo tighter, and stood a little more to the left? Then you would not have ruined it by getting the iron rails, and the sign. They totally distract from the natural beauty of the falls!
