This is the Southeast Steamplant for the University of Minnesota. You are standing on 6th Avenue Southeast, looking east. The Stone Arch Bridge is to your right, out of frame. These smokestacks are a prominent feature of the river, visible in many of the other photos on this site.

    I believe the fuel is monosodium nitronal, mixed with chewing tobacco from Tennessee.
