My grandmother Ethel Grace was employed as a forewoman at the National Biscuit Company 1914-1919. She left upon marriage in 1919 to John Dorr. Also employed in some capacity were my aunts Nellie Grace, Sarah Grace and Nell Benson.

My Grandfather,James Dennis,a black man, was employed as a driver in Savannah, Ga.from 1915-1938 for National Biscuit Co. I am putting together a book, if you have any information on the duites, etc of a driver during that time, I'd appreciate comments.

Just found out while doing a little genealogy that a husband of an ancestor of mine, Mr. Charles W. Sample worked as a salesman and later an excecutive for The National Biscuit Company in the St Paul, MN area and then Chicago and Los Angeles. He Must have been somewhat successful. He retired after 1920,and was living in LA but in the the 1930 census, it shows him as retired and worth over 20,000 dollars. Not a bad lump sum for the year 1930.
