Seeing the picture brought back many happy memories for me. The first time I saw it, I told myself I want to get married here. I lived in Makati from 1981-87 when I went to college, and shortly after that,I came to the U.S. I would regularly attend the Saturday afternoon mass after shopping at the nearby stores. The chapel is circular in shape and no walls. It is surrounded by water, like you're in the middle of a lily pond. To get inside, you go through a small gate and a bridge. It is so calming and serene, and you can hear the birds chirping, while the mass is going on. Because there are no walls, you see all the trees surrounding the chapel, thus the word, greenbelt. You can hardly believe you are in the middle of this modern metropolis because it is just so unbelievably
peaceful. I married a caucasian, and I wanted to have my wedding there, but they had restrictions (at that time in 1987, I don't know if that's still the case), because weddings are not permitted in a chapel.
