This is viewed from the Copacabana Hotel, in the Edsa-Baclaran area. The thoroughfare below is known as the Macapagal Highway, named after Diosdado Macapagal, one of the Philippines’ former presidents. The road became controversial because the Philippine government was allegedly overcharged by a minimum of P532.92 million by the road's contractor JD Legaspi Construction.
