Golden glazed roofs, as seen in the photo, are common in most of the buildings inside the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. Imperial building roofs are yellow, while temple roofs are blue. A closer look on the roof tiles will reveal a dragon design, the emperor’s symbol of power.
