I just arrived at this site and am very intersted in sculpture. However was a bit disapointed to NOT find the sculptor's name prominemtly displayed. Perhaps I just missd it?

I was invited to USA by the US State Department under distinguished visitor program. I was taken to Hiawatha-Minnehaha falls in Minnesota. I was told that they were lovers. Can you tell me this love story or any web site where I can find out this story. Or a book which I can find out from the American library.

I believe the statue is of Minnehaha & Hiawatha. Nokomis was the grandmother of Hiawatha who raised him when his mother died.
This website has the ebook "Song of Hiawatha" online. http://www.gutenberg.org/files/19/19-h/19-h.htm
