commentsEinar E. Kvaran Ann Arbor MI -- 2001-10-04 I just arrived at this site and am very intersted in sculpture. However was a bit disapointed to NOT find the sculptor's name prominemtly displayed. Perhaps I just missd it? Deeptha Leelarathna vartha@eureka.lk -- 2004-04-28 I was invited to USA by the US State Department under distinguished visitor program. I was taken to Hiawatha-Minnehaha falls in Minnesota. I was told that they were lovers. Can you tell me this love story or any web site where I can find out this story. Or a book which I can find out from the American library. Joan (Madsen) Lorge Minneapolis, MN -- 2005-10-01 I believe the statue is of Minnehaha & Hiawatha. Nokomis was the grandmother of Hiawatha who raised him when his mother died. This page last modified:2006-09-12 | |
