Benigno Aquino (aka Ninoy Aquino) is a member of the opposition group in martial law times in the Marcos Regime in the Philippines. His life ended in an assassination while getting off an airplane. You could see this monument on your way up to Baguio. There are yellow ribbons attached at the side because yellow is the color symbol of Ninoy. One could also see a star at the right corner because this is taken during Christmas Season. The tree at the background is an Acacia tree.
