You are looking down at the lower walking trail from the north side of the Stone Arch Bridge. The Pillsbury "A" mill is in the background at center frame. The water is part of the east channel of the Mississippi, which no longer connects with the river upstream. Water exiting the mills in the background used to flow into this channel.
