why show this kind of pictures of the Philippines? There is poverty in the country but showing the ugly side will not help in attracting people to visit. the country is trying its best to attract tourists to come and visit but your pictures will surely turn them off. You could shown pictures of beautiful beaches and the countryside. Your pictures of Baguio are not even the Baguio I know and visited. It's very lovely place. Tourism is a big revenue for the country helping lick off unemployment. Your pictures show the eye sore not the best and beautiful side of the country which is abundant. You did not help at all.

Thank you for posting these Photographs, it helps me to understand what life is like for some People. With out your Photograps I would never understand what I understand now, after seeing your photographs, i'm more appreciative of what I have and will try and figure out a way to help others less fortunate than i am. Roy Lee is a tool. The world is what it is, and the America we impose on other people countries is not a true representation of the world. Yes there are beautiful places everywhere, but this photograph is real, and I'd bet this man is proud of what he has accomplished with his store. I LOVE this photograph.

my only pupose is to finish my reaction paper on Housing specifically on marginalized community, but i came to realize the real purpose behind this research...
I, as an individual must also consider the people's right to "land" in this changing city (stressed by the author of the book- A Time to Build by anzorena and Poussard).But still there are many questions bothering me.. why do people struggle to the city in fact their lives on the low lands are better than here?, What's the big reason behind sqautting?, What is the government doing for this increasing " poverty rate"? and what is really their ideal home?.. common questions but yet I can't find answers to it.. maybe in the process of my research and through God's time I can find answers to these questions...
