description
You are standing on 5th Avenue SE near Main Street, looking west at the Pillsbury industrial complex that's been located here for over a hundred years. This appears to be their rail entrance, with elevators on the right. The back of the Pillsbury sign can be seen on the top of the gray building(second from the left). The Mississippi river is to the left, out of frame.

commentsRay Rolfe here -- 2004-02-01 This is the view I have been enjoying. I live here. A most profound time for me to experience. Day by day I witness whoever it is taking all the stuff out of ADM and the Pillsbury A Mill in prep for the mega condo development. I can't belive it, soon the most historic land mark in Minneapolis, at the birthplace of Minneapolis will be torn down. The white grain elevators which can be seen for miles around will be replaced with townhomes density residential. This page last modified:2005-01-18 | |
