This is the southern end of Jianshe Road in Shenzhen, China (Guangdong province). The Shangri-La hotel is on the right. A new light rail system is being build near here.

Shenzhen is just across the border from Hong Kong. Shenzhen has one of the first Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and has grown substantially in the last 18 years.
