This visitor to my patio often stands up completely erect, in this case while he's eating. It might help him see inside my glass patio door. It makes him seem more human and less rodent.

I decided to name this squirrel "Stuart". Later, I saw him with another squirrel that was identical in color, size, etc. Later still I saw three that were indistinguishable, and observed them playing with each other and grooming one another. I decided they were probably siblings, and I call any of the three "one of the Stuarts". They do have different personalities; "Scared Stuart" won't come to the patio door, but "Aggressive Stuart" claws at it to get more food.
