This military aircraft was heading towards the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), which is home to the Minnesota Air National Guard base. This four-engine turboprop with high wings is a C-130 Hercules.

The Minnesota Air National Guard includes the 133rd Airlift Wing, which flies C130 aircraft. It's an air transport organization that does air-drop training and transport missions.
