You are looking southeast from the skyway level of the IDS Crystal Court. The skyway to Marshall Fields(formerly Daytons) is directly behind you. The Circular pond in floor of the atrium catches water from a high spout above(out of frame). At the top of the picture is the balcony of Basil's Restaurant, known for being in the opening of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. The top level of the IDS has banquet facilities called "Windows on Minnesota".

I WAS ON A TOUR OF MINNESOTA HERE ON THE ENTERNET AND OLOT OF GOOD PICTURES CAME UP AND THIS WAS ONE OF THEM...I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MINNESOTA IN PERSON!

I now live in Minnesota..and have gotten a chance to eat here at Basil's and it was wonderfull...I would definately recompend this to someone for a nice brunch with the girlfriends.
